mommys day.raccoons.and spray paint.

Interesting title I know. But it is the only way to explain what has been going on in my world lately. Today is Mother's Day, I have the best Mama, that anyone could have. She is so sweet, loving, cheerful, and fun. I love you Mama!! ♥

and to explain the raccoon part, well.... we have this little friend, who lives in a hollow tree nearby. He comes by every night around 9 to eat cat foot on the back porch. I caught him last night, He looked at me, and I looked at him, then everyone came to look. He didn't mind having an audience, he just went on with his business, occasionally looking up at us. He washes his hands in between bights, it is hilarious to watch. He is huge, I took some pictures of his visit, and will post them soon.

I took one of our old picture frames, that was out-dated, and not very pretty, and I was going to try to re-paint it, and shabby-chic it. So I sprayed the first layer on there, then let it dry for a little while. Then I got it and went to spray the second layer on there, when to my horror, bright red spray paint comes out onto the crisped white frame. Oh, no!!! I quickly got a paper towel, and wiped it all off, so it looks fine now, it just has a little smidgen on red =)

Well, I need to head to bed~ good night!

do I really have to title this post?

this little girly turned ten months old today~ she's standing up and doing the real hands-and-knees crawl. saying "byebye'', "Ma Ma", and bird. she is such a little lady.

Monday we headed out to the strawberry Field, it was overcast and looked like it might rain, but we we were determined to pick some, at least I was!! =)

there was a certain three year old who was trying to pick one, but ended up pulling up the plant... poor guy, I couldn't help but laugh. =)

today after I had finished school, the boys took me and showed me the blackberry bushes that they had discovered...

My little buddy and I~

I love it when the pecan trees start getting green again~

little Levi looking a little puzzled

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When I was walking through the parking lot at the baseball game the other night, I was holding Levi's hand and pulling him along. When all of the sudden I feel this pull on my hand, and hear a bump and "Oww", I look back and Levi was rubbing his head... He had run into the mirror on the sides of one of the cars. ☺ Now that's what I call 'watching where you are going'!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was putting my mascara on this morning, and Levi walked up and stood outside the door, then He said "I'm hungry, Lydia!" (that's a frequently said sentence around here) I told him that I would get him something in a minute. Then I heard Titus yell from the bedroom "Eat Your Finger!!" Great idea Titus! ; )
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If the bubble company knew that a three year old could shed so many tears, and get so upset over a bottle of bubbles, I don't think they would have invented them.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Whenever Titus says something to Mama that might make her sad if it wasn't coming from a six year old, ( does that make since?) and she pretends to cry, he will tell her "You tied the not", and hopes that that will make up for the careless thing He just told her! He keeps us laughing. ☺
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yesterday morning, Levi came in from outside, where Abigail was running. She had sent him in to fix her some water and bring it to her, so He goes over to the cabinet and pulls out a little tiny sippy cup, and fixes her some, He fills it to the very brim of the cup, and then walks very slowly to the door, and says "This is scary", as it is spilling over the edges... =)
"Thus I will bless your name while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name."
Psalm 63:4
Vendors, books, and glass elevators.
I got back at 9:45 last night, from a homeschool conference that Mama, Abigail, Lily Kate, my Aunt, Uncle, cousins, and I went to. It was a blast, I loved every minute of it. The hotel was so much fun(that's where the pictures below were taken, my aunt took all of us down there while mama got Lily Kate to bed.), the vendor hall was wonderful, and used book sale was great too. It was a wonderful weekend, and many great memories were created. I didn't really take any pictures of the actual conference, just in the hotel, so enjoy~
My little angel~
I took Lily Kate outside early this afternoon... she loves the outdoors, sometimes I think she would be fine with it if we left her out there in her little basket~ (of course we wouldn't! ☺ ) Oh, and this picture of her crying is just because, sometimes she can't seem to accept the fact that life isn't always going to be a fairy tale, poor girl! =)
Baseball, hotdogs, apple pie, and chevrolet
Titus had a baseball game tonight... oh, at that age they are so funny to watch! I remember when Gabe was playing at his age, I there was a little boy who did cartwheels in out field = ), I saw a little boy at practice one day, who did splits in out field!
(Oops, I just now relized that I put "to low", instead of "to big".)
This little boy, poor thing, couldn't for the life of him keep is pants pulled up! = ) He had to have his pants pulled up, and shoes tied before he went up to bat. Then as he was running to first, his pants started to fall, so he finished it out by skipping, it was adorable!
And, you can't have a baseball game, without the mom who acts like it is the world series, and jumps up and down, and screams!! Oh my~ ; D
= )literally
better than a hallelujah sometimes.
"We pour out our miseries
God just hears a melody
Beautiful the mess we are
The honest cries of breaking hearts
Are better than a Hallelujah
Better than a church bell ringing,
Better than a choir singing out,singing out."- (Better than a Hallelujah- Amy grant.)
I love this song, I heard it on the radio the other day, and thought it had really cool lyrics (those above were just the lyrics to the chorus.)
this was another song that I thought was so neat... (it's the first song on my playlist.)
One day eyes that are blind will see you clearly
And one day all who deny will finally believe
One day hearts made of stone will break in pieces
And one day chains once unbroken will fall down at your feet
So we wait
For that one day
Come quickly, we want to see Your…
[Chorus:]
Glory
Every knee falls down before thee
Every tongue offers you praise, with
every hand raised
Singing Glory
To you and unto you only
We'll sing Glory to Your name
One day voices that lie will all be silenced
One day all that's divided will be whole again
One day death will retreat and wave it's white flag
One day love will defeat the strongest enemy
So we wait
For that one day
Come quickly, we want to see your….
[Chorus:]
Glory
Every knee falls down before thee
Every tongue offers you praise, with
every hand raised
Singing Glory
To you and unto you only
We'll sing Glory to Your name
We know not the day or the hour
Or the moments in between
But we know the end of the story…
When we'll see your…
[Chorus:]
Glory
Every knee falls down before thee
Every tongue offers you praise,
every hand raised
Singing Glory
To you and unto you only
We'll sing Glory to Your name
