God be with you till we meet again....

Our dear cousins and aunt just left. We had a great time. It is sad to see them go, but we will see each other again very soon! My aunt and cousin sang a song "God be with you till we meet again", it is a beautiful song, and we sang it in the middle of the street with with them in the car, adn the Selah CD to lead us! Yes, I know that is odd. But we create the best memories when we do stuped stuff like that! = ) So Aunt Monica, Carrington, and Clayton, God be with you till we meet again!

Love ya'll!

God is with you

A girl went to a party and
she ended up staying longer than she
planned, and had to walk home alone.
She wasn't afraid
because it was a small town and she lived
only a few blocks away..
As she walked along under the tall elm
trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from
harm and danger.
When she reached the alley, which was a
short cut to her house, she decided to take it.
However, halfway down the alley she
noticed a man standing at the end as
though he were waiting for her.
She became uneasy and began to pray,
asking for God's protection.
Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness
and security wrapped round her, she felt as
though someone was walking with her.
When she reached the end of the alley,
she walked right past the man and arrived
home safely.
The following day, she read in the
newspaper that a young girl had been killed
in the same alley just
twenty minutes after she had been there.
Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and
the fact that it could have been her, she began to
weep.
Thanking the Lord for her safety and to
help this young woman, she decided to go to the
police station
She felt she could recognize the man,
so she told them her story.
The police asked her if she would be
willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify
him.
She agreed and immediately pointed out
the man she had seen in the alley the night
before.
When the man was told he had been
identified, he immediately broke down and confessed
The officer thanked Diane for her bravery
and asked if there was anything they could do
for her
She asked if they would ask the man one
question.
Diane was curious as to why he had not
attacked her.
When the policeman asked him, he
answered, Because she wasn't alone.
She had two tall men walking on either side of
her.
Amazingly, whether you believe or not,
you're never alone.

I can't help but laugh.. = )

Every day me and my sister take turns walking with my om around the college in our town.

For some reason we get beeped at almost every day. Lily Kate is in her pouch thingy on Mama and I will occasionally push Levi in the stroller. We were walking on the sidewalk minding our own business, and out of the blue some college dude beeps. But all of the sudden today as we were walking, three guys packed in a little car, were staring at us, then all of the sudden one of them yelled at us! Mama was caught so off guard that she jumped!

Surely to goodness they are not beeping at us, or in some circumstances yelling, at us when we have babies with us! = )

So I just have to laugh at it... I am not on a hunt for some college aged punk, so i don't worry about it!

Please Pray...

Would you please pray for my grandmother who is having a terrible gout attack, and is in very bad pain. She would very much appreciate it! Thank you!

Autumn is Here!

The other late afternoon it was cool and very fallish feeling, so I put on a pair of old jeans and a sweater and headed outside to harvest our first set of pecans! I felt so very old fashioned and couldn't resist taking pictures of the fall evening event. It was a very cozy, and great way to enjoy the cool weather, we stayed out there till late evening!

Here are a few pictures I took, Happy Fall!

Embaressing Moments... You just got to love them!

My cousins have taken me on some very embarrassing moments in my life. As some of you may know, my cousins, siblings, and I, put on a play each Christmas, the last two, my grandmother has invited some of her friends to come see it.

One play was "Anne of Green Gables", being the lucky one that I am, I got to play the part of Anne. As all of you know Anne has orange hair, so my cousin McKenzie, and my sister Abigail, sprayed my hair orange... they said, it looked good but I don't think it did! = P As I stood outside in our "dressing Room", McKenzie whispered to me what I was supposed to do. Those 2 min. talks, didn't talks together, didn't do much unfortunately. Yes, as I stood up on the "stage", I became exceedingly embarrassed, as I stood in front of the "class" to make my apology for breaking my slate over Gilbert's head (Matthew) My teacher (McKenzie), told me to tell the class that I was sorry and I would never do it again, I said "I, Anne Shirley, have a very bad temper!", and with that I stalked out of the room... Yes you read right, I said something completely different than what she told me to, I said what she had told me to say before we went out on the stage. = ) I laugh about it now!!

On another incident, or should I say one of our other plays, Us girls got up on the stage, to sing a song that I didn't know, and yes, I told them I didn't know it, but they didn't listen to me, so I grudgingly walked onto the stage. As we began to sing the song, or more like as they began to sing the song, I began to laugh, that led my sister Abigail, to laugh, so I ran off the stage followed by my my humiliated cousins and sister. We were such the show stoppers that night!

Sleeping boy~

Today while Levi was taking a nap, I quietly went into his room to take a few pictures of him.

Apple Pie

Today I made my first pie from scratch. It turned out pretty good! I am looking forward to tasting it! Theses pictures were taken just a few minutes ago.

For Grandma~

Since you wanted to see the whole outfit!

I'll Love you Forever

Okay, so in our family, this book is one of our favorite childrens books. But to tell everyone out there the truth... it is quite a depressing book. I'm mean really, everyone is bound to get saddened by a book that talks about a little boy growing up and throughout all his faces of life his mother picks him up and while she rocks him she says, "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living, my baby you'll be". Then finally the mother gets to old to say it to her son, so the son picks of his mother, and rocks her and says the same... isn't that sad? Maybe it is just us, but really I think it is a bit of a depressing book, what about you?

You just gotta love her!

Such a Quirk ; )

I know I am partial towards here since she is my sister, but isn't she cute! = )

(This is the outfit, you gave her grandma... she was so cute in it!)

Happy Birthday, Abigail!

Happy Birthday Abigail! I hope you have a wonderful day! You are a great sister, and I am very glad God blessed our family with you!

We Love you!
